ROLE OVERVIEW:
We’re looking for Technical IT Project Manager to join our team and support our client– a European bank located in the Baltic area.
The profile should have experience in managed IT projects in the banking or fintech sector. Must have general knowledge about IT infrastructure, application development, cloud computing and API integrations and must have the experience of working with expert teams in these areas.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Managing/Monitoring IT Projects throughout the full project life cycle from initiation to closure.
- Supervise technical projects to ensure successful project delivery by organizing and managing internal and external stakeholders in all phases of the project to ensure on-time completion.
- Managing technical projects in harmony with distributed and multinational project teams, as well as assembling and coordinating project team members; assigning individual responsibilities.
- Supervising the project management governance process internal and external stakeholders in organization by establishing best practices. Ensuring that the internal project management process is implemented for all projects and participating in improvement processes when necessary.
- Assuring quality standards of technical contracts related to digital projects.
- Communicating project status and deliverables with internal and external stakeholders.
- Overseeing by taking an active role in coordination of the projects carried out with external parties.
- Managing and monitoring of project timelines, risks, and budget.
- Developing and maintaining comprehensive project documentation.
- General knowledge about banking, especially payment systems.
- Guiding and performing strategic analysis for the project.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Min 5 years experience with PM, having managed projects in Oracle FC family products is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with IT project management in financial sector preferably in banking.
- Holding a certificate is an asset (e.g.: PMP, Prince2, CPM, etc.).
- Experienced in coordination and task planning of technical teams.
- Knowledge in software development lifecycles.
- Knowledge about IT infrastructure and systems.
- Knowledge of public cloud services is a big asset.
- Experience working on banking applications (Oracle FlexCube) and integration projects will be a great advantage.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills in a technical environment.
- Advanced level of English language both written and spoken.
