How do you achieve balance in developing an innovative design tailored to business needs that sometimes are more strict?

To balance innovation with strict business needs. I focus on deeply understanding both user needs and business goals, using constraints creatively to enhance design rather than limit it. By testing ideas early and iteratively refining based on feedback. I align innovative design choices with measurable business value, ensuring both user engagement and business impact.

Tell us more about the latest project you led and the challenges and lessons learned.

In my recent role as a product designer. I worked on a multicurrency payment platform, designed to allow businesses to seamlessly process transactions in multiple currencies. The goal was creating an administrative dashboard that allowed teams to manage transactions, monitor currency conversions, and handle compliance seamlessly across multiple regions.

The main challenges included designing an interface that could support complex data for different currencies, ensuring real-time accuracy for exchange rates, and maintaining security and compliance features without overwhelming the user.

We focused on collaborative design reviews with engineers and compliance teams to ensure both usability and adherence to regulatory standards. This project highlighted the value of cross-functional collaboration to balance complexity with usability, especially in admin tools with high data demands.
