ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are currently seeking a Java Developer to join an ambitious project focused on building a sophisticated, highly dynamic, and fully parameterized software system. The new platform will replace and significantly enhance our client’s legacy lending system, delivering a modern, scalable solution adaptable to future business needs and modern technology ecosystems. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing key software components to ensure performance, reliability, and scalability, while contributing to the delivery of innovative software solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Write high-quality, efficient, and maintainable Java code
  • Develop and maintain complex business logic and custom rule-based workflows aligned with business and product requirements
  • Apply in-depth knowledge and expertise in any step of the software development lifecycle, from design through maintenance
  • Design and implement APIs and microservices, ensuring seamless integration with other systems
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and fix bugs and performance issues in existing code
  • Collaborate with other developers, testers, and product owners throughout the software development life cycle

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • 2+ years of experience in software backend development
  • Extensive experience with core Java and Java EE (Enterprise Edition)
  • Strong knowledge of frameworks such as Spring, Spring Boot, Quarkus or similar
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle
  • Knowledge of cloud services like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, Kubernetes, and Docker
  • Skills in writing technical documentation and creating design specifications
  • Practical experience using AI-assisted development tools
  • Experience in FinTech / Banking industry will be considered as a plus.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good level of English language - both written and spoken
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
