ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are looking for a hands-on QA Engineer to join our Quality Assurance team. You will own end-to-end testing across our payments platform - back-office and front-office web applications, public APIs, and the integrations that move money between them. You will work in a mature automation environment (Selenium + Rest Assured in Java for our core platform, Playwright + TypeScript for our admin and dashboard products, k6 for load) and you will be expected to extend it, not just consume it.

Expect to spend part of your time exploring new features, writing and executing manual test cases, and validating releases by hand - and the rest building, maintaining, and extending automated coverage so today's manual work becomes tomorrow's regression suite. The exact ratio shifts release-by-release, but both halves of the role matter. You will collaborate daily with developers, manual QAs, product, and DevOps to keep release quality high in a regulated fintech environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop, maintain, and execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end tests
  • Develop and execute API tests using Postman and Rest Assured
  • Convert manual test scenarios into automated test scripts
  • Execute manual and automated test cases and analyze test results
  • Identify, isolate, document, and track defects/bugs throughout the testing lifecycle
  • Conduct post-release and post-implementation validation checks
  • Test new features and functionalities across web and mobile platforms using a combination of manual and automated testing approaches
  • Configure, maintain, and improve testing tools, frameworks, and environments
  • Continuously improve test automation frameworks, reporting processes, and overall QA strategy

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience
  • 3+ years of experience in Software QA with a strong focus on automation testing
  • Hands-on experience with Java, Selenium WebDriver, Rest Assured, TestNG, Maven, Playwright, TypeScript/JavaScript, Postman, SQL/PostgreSQL, Git, Jira, and Confluence
  • Experience with automated test reporting tools such as Extent Reports and Slack reporting/notifications
  • Experience testing complex web applications and APIs
  • Strong understanding of test strategy, test planning, and test case creation
  • Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and issue diagnosis skills
  • Experience collaborating closely with developers to design and implement automated tests
  • Good command of English - both written and spoken
