ABOUT POSITION:
We are currently seeking a QA UI Automation Engineer to join our mission of building a modern, intuitive, and resilient user experience for our client’s modular banking platform. This role demands a proactive mindset, a passion for quality assurance, and the technical acumen to work closely with developers and product teams in delivering best-in-class digital banking experiences.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop, maintain, and execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end tests.
- Design, create and implement UI automation test scripts using Playwright, Selenium, or Cypress with JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Work with cross-functional teams including project stakeholders to ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle.
- Conversion of manual test scripting into automation test scripts.
- Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results.
- Identify, isolate, and report defects/ bugs found during testing.
- Conduct post-release/post-implementation checks.
- Test new features and functionalities on web platforms using a mix of manual and automation.
- Configuration and maintenance of testing tools and environments.
- Merging a clear reporting platform for automated test runs.
- Continuously improving test automation tools and test strategy
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
- 3+ years of experience in a software development / QA role with a focus on UI automation testing.
- Experience in at least one of the following frameworks/tools: Playwright, Selenium, Cypress (JavaScript/TypeScript).
- Understanding of Defect Tracking tools such as Jira, Confluence, etc.
- Experience working in an Agile / Scrum environment.
- Experience in testing complex web systems.
- Experience developing test strategies, test plans, and test cases.
- Troubleshooting and issue diagnosing skills.
- Background in collaboration, specifically with developers to design and implement automated UI tests.
- Good level of English language – both written and spoken.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
